Approaching Venice in our little boat, filled with tourists, it was not what I expected at all. I don't know what I was expecting, but this was beyond expectation! 

One of my first sights being St Marks Square, I instantly fell in love with St Marks Basilica. In Italian this amazing building is known as Basilica Cattedrale Patriarcale di San Marco. The marble exterior grabbed my attention straight away, not to mention its many domes. Unfortunately, I didn't get chance to see the interior of this building, however I did go up the huge lift to the top of St Marks Tower which revealed these amazing views!
